"When world tango champion German Cornejo takes to the stage he does not just dance to the music, he lives it."
THE SUN HERALD (Sydney, Australia) - 2008

German Cornejo, choreographer & lead dancer of Tango Fire- Flames of Desire Smash Hit, is regarded as one of the world’s best tango show choreographers and dancers today. Worldwide critics such as The New York Times, Ottawa Citizen, The London Times, and Financial Times among other top newspapers have consolidated him as the current “hot young choreographer” and highlighted the excellence as well as the quality of his work.

German was born in Zárate, Buenos Aires Province on 31 May 1986, and at the early age of 10 he started studying Tango dancing. At 15, he graduated from Gatell Conservatory of Dance with a honorable Master of Tango degree. During the following years, German broadened his skills by studying classical and contemporary ballet, jazz and acrobatic techniques. He then qualified for Master of Choreographic Composition at the National Institute of Arts.
German had the opportunity to be trained by a wide variety of teachers; however, the most important one was Nélida Rodriguez, whom he refers to as his “Artistic Godmother”. She was one of the legendary Tango Argentino’s first ballerinas and a star who succeeded in Broadway in the 1980s. She imparted her knowledge of not only dancing but also yeites (“the secrets of the Tango steps”, early XX century Tango jargon).
Regarding German’s awards and acknowledgements, in 2003 he won the “Gold New Talent” prize, and in 2005 the “Competition of Gold Dance” at the well-known primetime TV show “Susana Gimenez”, hosted by the most popular Argentine star, broadcast by TELEFE channel and Production Company. After obtaining his first gold medal 1999, German went on to win a total of seven of these awards at a series of contests for the youth in Buenos Aires Province and more than 20 first place prizes at national level. In 2005, German became World Champion of Tango dancing.

German has performed at many famous Tango houses in Buenos Aires including Mambo, Chiquin Buenos Aires and El Viejo Almacén. Also, he has conducted dance performances at some of the most important milongas in Buenos Aires, such as La Viruta, Porteño and Bailarín, Parakultural and Confitería Ideal. His long list of massive performances includes top rating TV shows in South America: Susana Gimenez, Showmatch, La Noche del 10 (hosted by Diego A. Maradona), Desayuno, Por Siempre Tango, Mp3 Musica del Tercer Milenio, Afectos Especiales, Bailando 2012. Around the world, some of the TV shows that enjoyed his magnificent dancing are: Por el Mundo, Programa do Jó (Brazil), The CW11 Morning News (USA),Fox News (USA), Good Day New York! (New York), Espejo Público (Madrid), Televisión de Cataluña (Barcelona), Sky News (London). Last but not least, German’s professional talent was once more highlighted and consolidated in Jennifer López & Marc Anthony’s reality TV show "Q' Viva- The Chosen", where he was winning finalist (USA, Canada and Latin America).

German was also a dancer for the productions Bien de Tango with El Arranque Orchestra, Vamos al Tango with Osvaldo Berlingeri (which obtained 4 Starfish prizes), El Viejo Almacén Brazilian Tour together with Ariel Spandrio’s Orchestra, Tango Inferno with Quatrotango, and Tango por La Igualdad.
In 2006, he traveled extensively around Japan to perform Buenos Tangos under Musical Director Fabio Hager. In 2008, he rejoined Tango Dance Premium and Fernando Marzán’s Orchestra.

After years of touring around the world, in 2008 the Department of Culture of Zárate, German’s home town, paid homage to him for his outstanding achievements in the show Evocación at the Coliseum Theatre.

Germán was guest dancer and participated in many local and international festivals such as: ''VI International Tango Festival'' (Argentina), ‘’I Santiago International Tango Festival” (Chile), ''Tango Buenos Aires 2011'' (Argentina), and ‘’Grec 2011’’ (Barcelona) to name a few. Renowned theaters which have also showed his art are: Shanghai Oriental Arts Center (Shanghai), Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (Malaysia), Badminton Theatre (Athens), Sydney Opera House (Sydney), The Joyce Theatre (New York), Peacock Theatre (London), The Esplanade Theatre (Singapore), Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), Luna Park Arena (Buenos Aires), GEBA Arena (Buenos Aires) and Mandalay Bay Arena (Las Vegas), among others.
As previously stated, German was participant of the reality TV show “Q’ Viva- The Chosen”, which was a prelude to “Q’ Viva Live” starring JLo and Marc Anthony and directed by the acclaimed entertainment director Jamie King. The final performance, “Q’ Viva Live”, was a box office success at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas in May 2012. Later, in June 2012, Germán joined JLO's once agaian as a special guest artist at her “Dance Again- World Tour”, the first concert at GEBA Arena in the city of Buenos Aires.

Germán was also part of the dance group “Sentimientos Tangueros”, which was under his own direction to perform for the Ex President of Vietnam Tran Duc Luong upon his visit to Argentina. Since then, Germán has been the choreographer of both Mission Tango show under the musical direction of Lisandro Adrover and Tango Inferno- The Fire Within.

To date, German’s Tango dance tours have visited the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Canada, Korea, Turkey, Malaysia, South Africa, Chile, Singapore, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Philippines. The shows were also extensively performed throughout the USA, Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Australia, China, and Japan.

At present, Germán is Director of Choreography and Lead Dancer in Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires which he joined since 2006. He has been a performer in M!longa since 2013’s premiere directed and choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.

Regarding choreographing and couching, German’s experience has been enlarged by his work with a contestant couple at the Latin America equivalent of Dancing With The Stars, 'Bailando 2012'. In 2011, German's students Max Van de Voorde & Solange Acosta won the World Tango Championship. Other students became 2nd, 4th & 5th place getters. In 2012, Cristian Correa & Sabrina Amuchastegui, and Nicolas Schell & Nair Schinka got the 3rd and 4th places respectively; Ariel Leguizamon & Yesica Esquivel the 9th place, all of them under German’s choreography and strict guidance. Finally, in 2013 Nicolas Schell & Nair Schinka became runners-up, and Facundo Ruiz Diaz & Agostina Tarchini got the 7th place.

The fact that many of his students have been reaching top positions at the Tango World Championship since 2006 has made German one of the most recognized and requested couches in Buenos Aires. He has become one of the best tango show instructors.

THE ARTS DESK (London, UK) - 2013

Gisela Galeassi

Gisela Galeassi was born in Carlos Paz, Cordoba, Argentina in 1983.She got engaged to art from a very early age. When she turned 3, she began to study at a ballet school.
Right after graduating as Teacher of Classical and Spanish Dancing at the age of 16, she went to specialize in tango dancing with the guidance of the finest teachers in Argentina.

Gisela has been awarded at national and international level for both classical and tango dancing: Best Artist at the Ibero-American Exhibition of Dance (1999) and Tango World Champion (2003) which consolidated her as tango dancer.

In 2004, her outstanding talent took her to the position of “Cultural Ambassador of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires” that led her to represent her country around the world.

Gisela’s work has dazzled big audiences at Tango houses in Buenos Aires such as "El Viejo Almacén", "Esquina Homero Manzi", "Cátulo" and the Luxury "Faena Hotel + Universe". She has also performed for celebrities like Kylie Minogue, Sting, John Travolta, Luis Miguel, and others. She has been part of hundreds of dancing exhibitions at some of the most well-known Milongas in Buenos Aires like "Canning", "La Viruta", "La Estrella", "El Beso" y "Parakultural".
Indeed, many renowned theaters, for example, the Colon Opera, Gran Rex, San Martín, Argentino de la Plata, Luna Park Stadium, Sydney Opera House and National Theatre De Chaillot have also been delighted by her art and style.
Last but not least, the many clothing publicity campaigns of “Mimi Pinzón” have been enlightened by Gisela’s beauty and fine feminine traits.

Versatility is one more feature that can be assigned to Gisela’s artistic professionalism, as it is shown in movies such as “Abrazos” (Argentina), “Mundo Lejano y Maravilloso” (Japan); “12 tangos” (Germany), and ''Rubén Juárez-Tango Live'' DVD” at the Argentino de la Plata Theatre in which she performed as leading dancer.

Gisela has participated in top rating Argentinean TV shows: Susana Giménez, Almorzando con Mirtha Legrand, Showmatch, La Noche del 10, Mañanas Informales, and in international famous shows: Dancing With The Stars (Australia), Q’ Viva- The Chosen (USA, Canada and Latinamerica) where she was winning finalists in Jennifer Lopez & Marc Antony's reality TV show. Directed by the renowned entertainment director Jamie King, Q’ Viva- The Chosen was a total success at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. In June 2012, Gisela was a special guest artist at JLO's first concert ever at GEBA Arena in Buenos Aires.

Gisela possesses vast experience at some of the most important orchestras in Argentina: Los Reyes del Tango, Sexteto Mayor, Color Tango, Orquesta Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Orquesta El Arranque and Victor Lavallén. She has been both director and choreographer of ''Tango Dance Premium'' (2008) at Fernando Marzan's Orchestra whose performance delighted audiences in Japan for three months.
Because of her tango wide expertise, Gisela has filmed the well-known teaching videos ''Tango Lesson'' (I & II), and she is usually invited to join juries at different regional tango championships in Chile, Spain, Italy and Japan. She was choreographer and tango couch for one of the couples in the Argentine equivalent of Dancing with the Stars: 'Bailando 2012'.

At present, Gisela is leading dancer at Tango Fire Company of Buenos Aires which she joined in 2011; also, she is a cast member of Milonga -directed and choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui-.
Her ongoing professional development has allowed her to show his passion for tango dancing around Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania. In Japan more specifically, where she has performed in all of her fourteen visits, she has become one of the top tango dancers.

SHOW DIRECTOR / CHOREOGRAPHER / DANCER
“German Cornejo’s choreography is accurate to a deadly precision, tight and focused. Focusing on movement, rather than narrative, to speak on the skill of the dancers is trivial. These are some of the world’s finest performers. Gold medal winners, with control over their form in super-human fashions.”
THE REVIEWS HUB ****, Edinburgh (SCOTLAND), 2020
“Everything about this show exudes glamour and style. It takes the dance to another level.”
NORTH WEST END UK *****, Liverpool (UK), 2020
“This has been the Tango Fire dance company at full volume. At the end of the show the crowd cheers and many spectators are on their feet, whistling and yelling Bravo! Given the applause, the audience has been mesmerized by such skills, dramatic emotions and improvisations, the flamboyant outfits of taffeta and brocade, the close connections between the dancers and such captivating musical compositions. As we walk home in single figure temperatures, I feel buoyed by how high they turned up the fiery Latin heat tonight and can’t feel the cold at all!”
ST ALBANS REVIEW, St Albans (UK), 2020
“Blazing triumph for Tango Fire” “A breathtakingly athletic and gravity-defying troupe of dancers.” “Tango Fire has to be seen to be believed.”
WORCESTER NEWS, Malvern (UK), 2020

MEMOIRS & MUSINGS, London (UK), 2019
“Tango Fire at the Peacock Theatre is the show that makes you fall in love with tango even if you’ve never had any interest in this genre before.” “The show makes you wonder if the laws of the gravity have any force on this stage. Here, the dancers set the stage on fire.”
THEATRE WEEKLY *****, London (UK), 2019
“Jaw-dropping and seductive.”
FINANCIAL TIMES, London (UK), 2019
“This phenomenal show - now in its 7th year - demonstrates new energy and drama every time it returns - a testament to German Cornejo's drive and love of his art, the reason Tango Fire is still as fresh as ever.”
LATINO LIFE, London (UK), 2019
“A stripped-down spectacular.” “Cornejo and Galeassi combine silken line with phenomenally strong partnering. They’re tango all-rounders: the high-speed footwork never becomes hectic, and they share a powerful onstage glamour. When it comes to the lifts, Cornejo whirls Galeassi as if she were a lasso, her body swinging and curling in the air, both daring and utterly at ease.”
THE INDEPENDENT ****, London (UK), 2019
“German Cornejo’s latest version of Tango Fire with its shifting tones, fluid movements and intense, emotional storytelling might just convince you to get dancing.” “Just before the interval Cornejo and his partner Gisela Galeassi up the ante with a dramatic and sexy tango that takes on a much slower, more intimate style, eventually joined by the other couples all dressed dramatically in black. In Act Two, it is German and Galeassi who steal the show again with their Tango / Adagio that borrow some of the basic presenting and fan-shapes of a romantic and wistful Rumba and builds the intensity with intricate step patterns and a couple of outstanding tricks including a one-armed lift above the head, showcasing German’s impressive strength, and a moment in which he cradles Galeassi before spinning her in one full rotation in his arms.”
THE REVIEWS HUB ****, London (UK), 2019
“The dancing itself is extraordinary; skillful, precise and gymnastic, and often performed at breathtaking speed. The second half, in which the couples present their own routines, sees almost unbelievable feats of technical mastery, bringing roars from the crowd and a partial standing ovation for German Cornejo himself and his long-term dance partner Gisela Galeassi.”
THE SPY IN THE STALLS ****, London (UK), 2019
“Cornejo's balanced programme deserves praise.” “German's choreography is especially notable in the second act. His use of spacing and levels help to creative a gorgeous aesthetic of patterns, if you can take your eyes off the dancers' feet enough to appreciate them.” “Here are masters of tango.”
BROADWAY WORLD, London (UK), 2019
“Tango Fire is simply sublime to witness.” “Sexy, sassy and intricate, is a thrilling spectacle from start to finish.” “With plenty of drama and passion, watching Tango Fire will fill you with excitement and joy for this dance as well as leaving you breathless at all of the talent on display. It is sexy, exhilarating and exciting to watch. A thrilling spectacle.”
LOVE LONDON, LOVE CULTURE ****, London (UK), 2019
“Naturally Cornejo and Galeassi’s contributions are the most show-stopping. They carry everything off with a sophisticated air against the pounding music of the band. Galeassi’s feet work furiously to create the illusion of spontaneity in the intricate choreography, before Cornejo launches her into the air in a lift that brings the audience to their feet.” “Tango Fire efficiently fulfills its promises with stylish, sizzling tango danced to the highest level.”
CULTURE WHISPER ****, London (UK), 2019
“An elegant sizzle!”
LONDONIST ****, London (UK), 2019
“Never had we seen lightning-speed lifts and smooth transitions executed so effortlessly. It was one extraordinary stunt after another, leaving the audience amazed. The grounded movements of breakdancing created a perfect balance to the uplifted movements of tango, a balance that brought out a multilevel aesthetic in dancing.” “The mixture of radical creativity, perfection of choreography and its ability to take your breath away is what makes it one of the greatest shows.”
NATION THAILAND, Bangkok (THAILAND), 2018
“Passionate”
SUNDAY EXPRESS ****, London (UK), 2018
“Dazzling… A mesmerizing spectacle!”
MAIL ON SUNDAY ****, London (UK), 2018
"Exhilarating!" "I cannot imagine that partnered dance gets any better than this. Germán Cornejo has created non-stop, slick entertainment, with never a dull moment in a show.” “In Tango After Dark, Cornejo has concocted the perfect (and I don’t use that word, lightly) combination of Astor Piazzolla’s unique Tango Argentino music, ten of the best tango dancers in the world, two charismatic singers and an outstanding septet of musicians.” “Unsurprisingly, the most explosive movement came in the featured dancing of Cornejo and Galeassi, the lightning speed and precision of their interspersed legs peppered with a rich variety of lifts, including one-arm presages, and scintillating spins in hold. Both are former tango world champions (although not dancing together) and their passionate, eloquent dancing appears (certainly to my eye, at least) flawless with moments of gasp- out-loud excitement. Cornejo is the kernel of their dance, controlling every movement with nimble feet, elastic legs and immense upper-body strength; Galeassi follows her partner’s lead, matching his speed and rhythm, but the excellence of their dance depends upon her pliancy, plasticity and remaining calmly elegant while being lifted and spun at such velocity. Their excellence in the spotlight did not excuse Cornejo and Galeassi from playing the fifth pair in the group dances, each of which was performed with immaculate and uniform clarity.”
DANCE TABS *****, London (UK), 2018
"Wonderful" “The movements are executed with perfect timing and speed, flawless.
LONDON THEATRE REVIEWS *****, London (UK), 2018
"Spectacular speed... Suggestive... Lethal glamour" "What dancing!" “German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi are capable of spectacular speed, with footwork that might seem crazed but is never imprecise.”
THE TIMES ****, London (UK), 2018
"Exhilarating" “Of the five couples, it is perhaps not surprising that Cornejo and Galeassi impress so highly.”
THE REVIEWS HUB ****, London (UK), 2018
“A sizzling display of Tango... Sharp, Intimate and Intense” “Coming together with the great composer and bandoneon player, Astor Piazzolla and mixing it with Cornejo’s choreography this brings a fantastic experience.” “Group numbers were impressive, seeing these dancers perform together at the speed and detail had your eyes glued. Skill. Pure Skill.” “An amazing production, by an amazing cast.”
THE LIVE REVIEW ****, London (UK), 2018
"Sensual, seductive and highly stylish. Fantastic!”
LAST MINUTE TICKETS *****, London (UK), 2017

KULTUR-PORT, Hamburg (GERMANY), 2017
“Glimmering dance melting pot.” “Breakdancers and tango dancers joined forces for the first fiery ensemble number before the creative head of it all, German Cornejo, started a solo full of elegance with his long- time dance partner Gisela Galeassi.”

20 MINUTEN, Zurich (SWITZERLAND), 2017
“I must also mention the penultimate dance – a total barnstormer showcasing the phenomenal talent of former world champions Gisela Galeassi and Germán Cornejo. This one dance is worth the price of the ticket alone. I almost forgot to breathe, as did half the Lyric Theatre.”
NORTH WEST END UK, Salford (UK), 2017
“There is tango, then there is German Cornejo.”
SEEN LONDON, London (UK), 2017
“Thrilling & Seductive” “Cornejo’s group dances have a streak of humour, and always with a sense of controlled precision masquerading as natural improvisation, as if Bob Fosse had taken up residence in a milonga.”
THE REVIEWS HUB ****, London (UK), 2017
“Pure velocity and plenty of sizzle” “Dancer/director German Cornejo and partner Gisela Galeassi race brilliantly through virtuoso steps but they also sumptuously stretch out musical phrases before snapping back into rhythm.”
EVENING STANDARD ****, London (UK), 2017
“Tango at it sexiest and most stupendous” “German Cornejo (who created the show) and partner Gisela Galeassi make a particularly super couple.” “This is a marvelous confection, conceived with love and delivered with electrifying brio.”
THE TELEGRAPH ****, London (UK), 2017
“Truly awe-inspiring” “Created by German Cornejo, one half of the hugely popular couple with his partner Gisela Galeassi, Tango Fire is a true lesson in tango in all its forms.” “Unsurprisingly, Cornejo and Galeassi hold the baton as the strongest couple. They give a stunning display that emphasizes their indescribable partnership. It is impossible not be impressed by the speed of their movement and the intertwining whips and kicks of their legs, working together seamlessly at top speed.”
SEEING DANCE, London (UK), 2017
“A wonder to behold.” “Tango Fire is a dance form that offers some of the speediest footwork and tightest twirling in the business, and German – a tour de force in Tango Fire since 2006, winning the acclaimed Lucas Awards twice for his Tango productions in London in ’15 and ’16/17 – is well placed to ensure that not a beat is left untouched as dancers explosively take to the stage.”
THE LONDON ECONOMIC ****, London (UK).
“This show is a true Masterclass in Tango!”

LORD MICHAEL BATES BLOG (London, UK) 2016
"German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi then take to the stage to perform the first of two tango duets. Their first performance titled A Los Amigos has power, the chemistry between the two dancers is undeniable as each movement oozes sensuality. This is highlighted in their second performance SuSu, a piece inspired by Romeo and Juliet. It’s a lyrical duet that conveys forbidden love through compelling movement. The spectacular performance had the audience last night literally gasping aloud at the unbelievable lifts in the duet which are performed so effortlessly."
SINCERELY AMY (Birmingham, UK) 2016
"Two tango duets from German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi provide the most show stopping moments in Dance: Sampled, provoking audible gasps and spontaneous, mid-performance applause from an admiring audience. Their first duet, A Los Amigos, reflects a dangerous game of sensuality and power between a man and woman. Although moving swiftly, the couple appear absolutely glued to the stage. The intricacy and speed of their leg kicks and flicks is breath-taking, and certainly adds an extra dimension of risk to the occasion. Cornejo and Galeassi's final piece, SuSu, is more narratorial, speaking of forbidden love and secret passion. Pulses are set racing by gravity defying lifts; in the blink of an eye Galeassi appears to flip in mid-air, or drop to the floor as quickly as if she had fallen - but of course she hasn't. These two dancers are so incredibly slick, passionate and charismatic; fully deserving of their standing ovation."
BROADWAY WORLD (Birmingham, UK) 2016
"German and Gisela are an Argentinian Tango duo with enough sass in the leg to win worldwide stardom. Explosive, oozing in desire and the yearn for more, the duo’s danger and speed interweaving within effortless drama ensued a tempestuous stream of appreciation following their sophomore number. Risky aerial moves and ultimate precision, it’s not surprise as to why these two are so highly regarded."

E IS FOR EMMA (Birmingham, UK) 2016
“Argentinian Tango duo, German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi are world champions, and from their two short performances, it is easy to see why. The first, A Los Amigos, was a fast-paced piece fuelled with fire and passion. Blink and you’ll miss it, because the footwork is so fast it is hard to believe someone is quite capable of that! The second, SuSu, was inspired by the forbidden love in Romeo and Juliet, and had more lyrical elements to it. In true Tango style, the slow, sensual rhythms were interrupted by incredible sharp movements from the dancers. Cornejo and Galeassi are the ideal partnership, gliding across the floor in complete unison with each other. They received the largest applause of all, and deservedly so."

"Cornejo should be praised for the group choreography, as well as the show’s overall slickness, which allows it to run like a well-oiled machine – packing in shed-loads to the allotted two hours without feeling excessive."
THE ARTS DESK (London, UK) 2013
"The highlights of the evening were the last few numbers of the second act, specifically a number performed by German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi titled Susu. This number used an incredible mix of classic tango and modern elements in order to create a show stopping eleven o'clock number. (…)
Cornejo, also the shows choreographer, clearly knows how to entertain an audience. His solos with partner Galeassi were by far the most impressive routines of the evening - earning the duo thunderous applause. While all the other dancers were excellent, none brought the same passion and skill to their act as Cornejo and Galeassi."
BROADWAY WORLD (Toronto, Canada) 2013
"I would be hard pressed to say which of the five couples drew my singular attention as the entire company consists of exceptional dancers and several of them are world tango champions. However, my hat goes off to German and his partner Gisela Galeassi who stunned the audience with their, jaw dropping swirls, quicksilver steps and passionate sensuality."
MOUNTAIN LAKE, (Montreal, Canada) 2013
"Tango Fire is choreographed by critically acclaimed Argentine choreographer & dancer German Cornejo. All of this graceful movement is directed once again by German Cornejo, a meticulous scholar and lover of classic and contemporary artistic ballet, jazz and acrobatic techniques."
FIESTA MAGAZINE (Washington, USA) 2013
“All the performers are superb, but it is the dark and seductive Gisela Galeassi and partner German Cornejo who demand most attention. Their first duet is a lightning-quick one in close embrace, with feet crossing over and legs interweaving faster than I could keep up with. Their second dance is slower but equally exquisite, with showy choreography including Cornejo holding Galeassi spectacularly over his head with one arm. These two dancers are worth the ticket price alone.”
DANCING TIMES (London, UK) 2013
"German and Gisela are clearly the stars of the 15-strong company."
DAILY MAIL (London, UK) 2013
"Group choreography is by German Cornejo, with each couple being responsible for their individual dances. And while there isn’t a weak link among any of the couples, it was a dance in each act by Cornejo and his partner Gisela Galeassi (with whom he has been World Tango Champion twice) that really brought the audience to its feet."

BALLET (London, UK) 2011
"But the stand-out dance of the evening was performed and coreographed by the company's lead dancers German Cornejo (also the Company's Assistant Coreographer) and his partner Carolina Giannini. On a top of multitude of gasp-inducing acrobatic moves, it was the sexiest thing ever seen on stage.”
AUSTRALIAN STAGE (Melbourne, Australia) 2010
"''The stand-out couple by far were German Cornejo and Carolina Giannini. Giannini has the tightest technique of all the girls, her footwork is crisp and her flexibility is amazing to watch. Cornejo has the agility to make the lifts look seamless as he cuts Giannini into the air and sets her down like she is a feather, an amazing couple that you could watch for hours.”

"Zum, tango de Piazzolla, fue la carta de triunfo de Germán y Carolina, por estar la coreografia plagada de acrobacias y caídas espectaculares, que si resultaron muy llamativas por parte de la bailarina, su compañero estuvo siempre atento a recibirla en brazos, igual que a lanzarla por los aires."
DANZA BALLET (New York, USA) 2007
"Thought German Cornejo lifted, dropped and caught Carolina Giannini in sensational ways, they were better just in the way they walked backward slowly together, lingering with gorgeous suspense over each pace.”

METRO (London, UK) 2007
"The duets in Act II pile up with a ''Top this!'' brashnes that smacks of circus stunts.
